Due to Covid 19 travelling has been made more difficult around the world and people needing addiction and mental health treatment are unable to attend. To address this Siam Rehab is offering an online counselling programme for people in need. 

Also the fees that you pay for online counselling we will deduct from your inpatient programme if still needed after the travel restrictions are lifted. *limits apply

This programme will be done with a one to one counsellor or psychologist, depending on your needs from the comfort of your own home. Sessions will take place at an agreed upon time via Skype or Zoom with your dedicated professional counsellor.

1 to 1 online counselling for addiction or mental health with a professional psychologist or psychotherapist depending on what you need. 

This programme is very individual and will be based on your specific needs utilizing one of our professional counsellors who fits best with you. 

Once travel restrictions are lifted if you still require inpatient treatment all fees paid for this programme will go as a credit towards one of our world class inpatient treatment programme sin Thailand or the Netherlands. *limits apply

Ryan Erispe - (Dip. Couns.) (ACCSA Cert.) (BAPSA)

Team Leader

Ryan is an experienced addiction counsellor who has been in recovery and working in the field for many years. He has held a number of management positions in South African and International rehabilitation centres. Ryan has a passion for therapeutic programme development, integrating a wide range of evidence based approaches to create a holistic and individual focused treatment experience.

He has formal addiction counselling and psychotherapy training, he specialises in working with dual diagnosis clients as well as  behavioural addictions. He is skilled in psycho- educational lectures, workshops, and group therapy facilitation and finds the group process the most rewarding aspect of treatment.

Danielle Du Plessis (BA Psych Hons.)

Psychologist

Dani has lifelong personal experience of addiction and its impact on the family system. She studied psychology at Rhodes University in South Africa and began working in the addiction field shortly after.

She has worked in both South African and International treatment centres. She has a passion for working with women in particular, with focus on trauma, abuse, and dual diagnosis. Her approach focuses on addressing adverse childhood experiences and their impact on maladaptive behaviours. She presents psycho-educational workshops on aspects such as inner child work and mindfulness, she is a skilled and insightful group therapy facilitator.

John Smith - BA

Senior Counsellor

John is a former educator, as well as a  certified Life Coach and NLP Coach. He has also been certified as a Professional, accredited Addiction Recovery Coach. 

Over a period of 10 years, he has conducted numerous talks, seminars and workshops on the topics of addiction and recovery. 

Until recently, John headed up the Professional Standards Body of Ubuntu Academy Of Coaching And Training (U-ACT), served on the board of directors of Family And Survivors Trust Of South Africa (FastSa) and served on the therapeutic teams of a number of addiction and mental health recovery centres, using the skills acquired in his training, as well as his personal journey in recovery.

Earl Kotzin

Counsellor

Earl has been in recovery himself for more than 14 years.  Earl has worked in addiction treatment centres for 12 years, initially as a support worker and after getting his counselling qualifications eventually rose to counsellor and centre manager. 

When working with clients, Earl draws on his own experience as well as CBT and the  Minnesota model.
