Sean is a registered member of The Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP, UK). He has been working in the field of addiction since 2000.
His training as a therapist began in 2000 at St. Albans College, studying with CPSAB. He later specialized in Addiction Counselling at the University of Bath (UK). His addiction therapy training was conducted under the clinical supervision of Clouds House, (Now Action on Addiction) a leading treatment center in the UK since 1983.

He played a key role in developing and delivering drug and alcohol treatment programs and coordinated projects across Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Yorkshire. His work was instrumental in helping many prisoners seek treatment for the first time.
In 2012, Sean moved to Thailand to join The Cabin Chiang Mai. His extensive experience made him a strong candidate for the eventual role of Clinical Operations Manager, which he quickly assumed.
Sean is deeply passionate about helping clients recover from addiction. His primary interests include exploring the links between childhood trauma, dysfunctional family systems, and addiction. As a seasoned professional, he is committed to supporting clients in breaking the cycle of addiction and regaining autonomy in their lives.
Since 2020, Sean has worked as an independent substance misuse and alcohol counsellor, as well as a consultant for various rehabilitation providers. He joined Siam Rehab in 2022 as part of the clinical team leadership.
