Siam Rehab is an organization based in Chiang Rai, Thailand. We offer professional help to patients with addiction whether in combination with psychiatric co-morbidity or not. We provide a unique working environment, where our staff work hard but also enjoy nature in a tropical environment.

Psychologist
Psychologist – for substance misuse clinic in Thailand, 40 hours / week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors (Minimum), Masters (Preferred) in Psychology
- Registered and Licensed psychologist in the jurisdiction you work
- You have at least 2 years of experience in drug addiction both in clinical and / or ambulatory
- You are flexible, you are healthy and have good social skills
- You apply a multidisciplinary approach to treat not only the addiction, but also psychiatric co-morbidity
- You do not only work with your patient, but also his/her family and keep them directly involved
- You are prepared to contribute, together with the head of treatment psychiatrist, in the preparation and implementation of innovative care, which reviews the biological and psychosocial factors of the addiction
- You have excellent English-language skills, including timely preparation of treatment plans and external correspondence towards referrers
- Able to make an informed contribution to the interview, diagnosis and treatment, and can take adequate and firm action in the event of crisis situations
- You are already familiar with integrated dual diagnosis treatment (IDDT)
- You have an excellent knowledge in the field of psychotherapeutic treatment, including: CBT, ERT, ACT, SVT, mindfulness, -, both individually and in group settings
- You’re willing to share your knowledge with your colleagues; – You can provide at least two written references about your work performance
- You are motivated, and able to work effectively either independently or in a team
- Dutch language skills are an extra bonus
Benefits Include:

Working at the clinic will never be boring, but challenging, innovative and dynamic. Important steps towards recovery are achieved here. It is a full-time employment for the period of one year (renewable), with a three-month probationary period.
