We all need the privacy that a sacred space provides; a place of solitude where one can regroup and recharge. Having one’s own sacred space is a vital contributor towards emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being.  In his book, The Power of Myth, author Joseph Cambell, speaks about “the importance of having a sacred space – a space without human contact, a place where you can simply be yourself and be with who you are and who you might want to be.” We pride ourselves on offering our clients a place just like that – a safe space, a space they can call their home away from home, when staying with us for an extended period of time.

In addition to this, we also understand that a good night’s rest is also a vital part of recovery as many clients come into treatment with no structured sleep routine. It is in the solitude and safety of their own bedrooms that our clients can develop healthy, uninterrupted sleep patterns again.

In closing, we understand that even the most outgoing person needs a private space in which they can just be themselves. Each bedroom has been authentically and stylishly decorated to offer our clients a haven of tranquility and peace, a place to curl up to journal or to read, a place to meditate or relax in at the end of a very rewarding day of recovery.
