Teen Challenge Atlantic Memramcook 1(800) 965-7170 Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation program with centres located across Canada.
Located in a renovated monastery on 18 acres of meadow, forest and landscaped gardens, Teen Challenge Atlantic has the capacity for 17 adult men.
In this serene location, Teen Challenge students participate in a program that equips them to overcome their addictions so that they can return to their families and society.
Ridgewood Addiction Services Saint John 506-674-4300 Ridgewood Addiction Services provides a variety of services to chemically dependent clients, problem gamblers, family members and the community. Services include inpatient detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient counselling, specialized opiate (drugs derived from the opium plant) treatment such as methadone maintenance and counselling groups, substance abuse education and support groups.
Portage Cassidy Lake Norton 506-839-1200 Portage Atlantic provides a residential substance abuse rehabilitation treatment program for young people from Atlantic Canada between the ages of 14 and 21. The centre is located on 165 acres on the shores of Cassidy Lake near Sussex, New Brunswick, in the Parish of Norton. Every year since the centre opened in 1996, Portage has helped approximately one hundred young people from the Atlantic Canada region to regain control of their lives by seeking Freedom from addiction.
Rising Sun Treatment Center Eel Ground First Nation 506-627-4626 The Rising Sun is a ten bed facility that offers services to First Nation men and women who are seeking assistance in dealing with their addictions.
Our program focuses on cultural and traditional teachings based on the teachings of the Medicine Wheel. Other techniques are also incorporated into the program of the Rising Sun such as Mindfullness based Relaxation , parenting , anger management .etc.
Lone Eagle Treatment Centre Elsipogtog (506) 523-8244 The Lone Eagle Treatment Centre is a residential program in New Brunswick. It can take up to six people at the same time and the program lasts 5 weeks total. The people that can be taken in have to be at least 18 years old. There are several services provided by the rehab such as assessment, alcohol and drug learning, case management, client orientation, crisis intervention, professional consultation, cultural activities, individual counselling, individual and aftercare planning, way of life skills/personal development, group counselling, individual recovery planning, referral, and recreation therapy.
Tobique Addiction Rehab Centre Tobique First Nation (506) 273-5430 The individuals that can be taken in have to be at least 18 years old. There are various services provided by the rehab such as evaluation, alcohol and drug knowledge, case management, crisis intervention, specialized consultation, cultural activities, one on one counselling, individual and aftercare arrangement, way of life abilities/personal development, group counselling, individual recovery planning, referral, and recreation treatment.
