I am not endorsing or recommending any of them as I have not visited or reviewed the programs with the exception of looking at their websites where they have one. Also please note I do not generally write the description of the programs, descriptions are taken from the centers websites or marketing materials.
This list of Drug rehabs Ontario is for information purposes only and to give you a starting point when you are looking for help with your addiction issues.

It’s a safe and secure place where men can work to overcome addictions and address issues such as anger and trauma histories.
Teen Challenge London London, ON Phone: (519) 652-0777 Toll-Free: 1(888) 417-7777 Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is part of a network of over 15 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada.
The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.
Newgate 180 Merrickville, ON Phone: (613) 269-2672 Toll-Free 1-888-524-8333 Newgate 180 is a centre for residential treatment and education of alcohol, drug and gambling addiction. With private locations on the serene banks of the Rideau River in Merrickville, Ontario, we are just north of Highway 401 along the Toronto—Ottawa—Montreal corridor.
North Bay General Hospital Nipissing Detoxification and Substance Abuse Programs North Bay, ON Phone: (705) 476-6240 The program provides individual and group assessments and treatment for persons with substance abuse issues. Program participants attend sessions during the day and remain in the building. It is open to anyone, male or female aged 16 and over with addiction issues.
Seven South Street Treatment Centre Orillia, ON Phone: (705) 325-3566 Seven South Street Treatment Centre offers men with alcohol and drug addictions an opportunity for recovery and self-improvement by delivering education and counselling services in a supportive and compassionate residential environment. Georgianwood Concurrent Disorders Program Penetanguishene, ON Phone: (705) 549-3181 ext. 2526 The Georgianwood Program for Concurrent Disorders is a three-month residential program for people with both a substance use disorder and a mental illness. It is the only speciality integrated residential concurrent disorders program in our region.
Treatment includes:
- cognitive behavioural therapy for major depression and anxiety disorders
- skills training for major mental illnesses such as schizophrenia
- Seeking Safety for concurrent post-traumatic stress disorder
- relapse prevention
- motivational interviewing and self-help group facilitation (e.g. AA, NA).
Port Colborne General Hospital Port Colborne, ON Phone: (905) 378-4647 ext. 32500 The Mental Health and Addictions Program focuses on a holistic, recovery model of care, designed to be respectful and sensitive to the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and social needs of patients. The inpatient units at the new hospital are large with open spaces that are inviting and create a home-like environment. The majority of bedrooms are private to meet individual needs for quiet space that is important in the recovery process.

Our team use a holistic approach that addresses the physical, psychological, spiritual and social aspects of health and recovery. By treating not just the problem but the person as a whole, we help our clients gain the strength and ability to make the healthy choices critical to overcoming their addiction.
Holmes House Simcoe, ON Phone: (519) 428-1911 Toll-Free: 1(888) 999-4966 Holmes House is located in Simcoe, Ontario, close to Norfolk General Hospital, the governing agency. Holmes House offers withdrawal management services (detoxification) from alcohol and mood-altering chemicals in a residential setting. Support is offered 24-hours per day, year round. A short-term (21-day) co-ed treatment program is also available for clients requiring a residential setting as well as clients who are able to commute daily to our facility. Aftercare is available in two different locations for those who wish to stay connected following treatment.

Salvation Army – Sudbury New Life Centre Sudbury, ON Phone: (705) 673-1175 The Salvation Army Sudbury – New Life Centre offers assistance to all regardless of race, religion, or gender. The centre provides shelter, security, support and the basic needs of life for homeless men, women, and families, as well as a residential recovery program for men who have lost control of their lives due to addiction.

St. Joseph’s Care Group Thunder Bay,ON Phone: (807) 684-5100 Adult Rehabilitation is a 21 bed male/female inpatient mental health program for individuals with severe, persistent mental health problems. These services are delivered in a collaborative, client centered individualized manner following best practices principles and a psychosocial rehabilitation philosophy.
Jubilee Centre Addiction Services Timmins, ON Phone: (705) 268-2666 The Residential Treatment Program is approximately 28 days long and is offered to clients sixteen years of age and older who are experiencing problems with substance use and/or concurrent disorders.
House of Friendship of Kitchener Waterloo, ON Phone: (519) 885-3330 House of Friendship operates several Addiction Treatment Programs to help support healthy lives.

Our sites are located in the community, not in a hospital setting, offering a safe, supportive environment to works towards treatment goals.
Brentwood Recovery Home Windsor, ON Phone: (519) 253-2441 ext. 206 Short-term Program
Our short-term program is a residential program which is highly structured consisting of daily meetings, one on ones, intensive group therapy, and individual counselling. After completion of 21 days, the clients are reassessed to determine whether they should stay for our Long-term program or will continue with our Follow-up program. If a client chooses to leave after 21 days, they are not granted the status of alumnus or Graduate.
Long-term Program
Our long-term program is a 90 day residential program and is structured the same as our 21 day short-term program. After completion of the 90 day long-term program the client is considered an alumnus of Brentwood and encouraged to continue to attend meetings and groups regularly. The person who graduates has the full use of meetings, social activities, counselling, Youth and Spouse Support.
House of Sophrosyne Windsor, ON Phone: (519) 525-2711 The Residential Treatment program is for women only and consists of a 35 day integrated addiction and trauma treatment program. New residents arrive on the Monday and are discharged at the end of their fifth week on the Sunday.
Windsor Life Centre Windsor, ON Phone: (519) 972-8160 Windsor Life Centre is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian-based drug and alcohol treatment centre devoted to the care and recovery of women 18 years of age and older.
